Dr. Skibell is member of American Association of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontists, Dallas County Dental Society, and Southwestern Association of Orthodontists.
Richard Skibell has been practicing orthodontics since 1974. Skibell grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and attended the University of Texas School of Orthodontics where he earned his degree. Soon after, he started his own private practice where he worked from 1975-2010.
Skibell was also a Captain in the Air Force where all POWs being released from the Vietnam War came through his stationed base. Skibell is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontists, Dallas County Dental Society and the Southwestern Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Richard Skibell has been a practicing orthodontist for more than 30 years. He attended dental school at the University of Texas in Houston and graduated in 1970. He completed his specialization in orthodontics in 1974 and served in the Air Force at Clark Air Base on Luzon Island, Philippines.
When not seeing his patients, Dr Skibell loves to enjoy a relaxing day of golf, goes for long walks with his two dogs Harry, a Burma Doodle, and Watson, a Golden Doodle.
He also enjoys traveling with his wife to visit their daughter in San Francisco and son in New York.
According to Dr. Skibell oral hygiene is very important. This requires thorough brushing and daily flossing as both are essential for overall oral health. He is committed to providing his patients with the highest quality dental care and believes in offering several dental techniques to be able to reach the best outcome for his patients.
